Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings, INC. seeks a Kitchen Production Associate to prepare ingredients and operate equipment for edible and ingestible products in a food-grade setting. You will ensure quality and safety standards are met while supporting daily production with accurate documentation.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, at a Massachusetts facility. Minimum 21+ years old, HS diploma or GED, and 6–12 months in kitchen/food production are required. Food Handlers certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in a kitchen, food production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate.

• Packaging – Package and label finished products per regulatory and brand standards.

The Role

This position reports directly to Kitchen Lead and is responsible for the production and packaging of edible and ingestible products. The role involves preparing ingredients, operating machinery and ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards in a food-grade environment.

Full Time - Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5pm

Pay - $17.50/hour

Essential Job Functions

• Ingredient Preparation – Accurately weight and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• Production – Operate kitchen equipment and machinery to produce edible and ingestible products.
• Packaging – Package and label finished products in compliance with regulatory and brand standards.
• Safety Compliance – Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for all assigned tasks.

Other Job Responsibilities

• Demolding – Remove cured products from molds following production.
• Inventory Support – Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Sanitation – Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen environment.
• Documentation – Complete batch records and daily production tracking sheets accurately.
• Quality Control – Inspect products and reject any that do not meet quality standards.
• Inventory Counting – Count and record finished products and prepped materials.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in a kitchen, food production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate.
