Job Overview

The role involves interacting with customers, supporting digital growth, and providing behind-the-scenes support, all aimed at creating happiness through cooking and sharing good food.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service, proactively greeting and assisting customers.
• Support cooking classes by assisting the instructor and reinforcing techniques.
• Maintain product knowledge through training and self-education.
• Work as part of a team to achieve sales goals and support store objectives.
• Follow all policies and standard operating procedures.
• Promote products and services, demonstrate products upon request.
• Assist with ingredient shopping, class preparation, and kitchen maintenance.
• Perform cleaning duties and record work hours accurately.
• Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and management.
• Handle, serve, and mix beverages as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Resident Chef.

Essential Functions

• Effective verbal communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain stationary and move about the workplace.
• Ability to distinguish flavors and odors.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as reaching, bending, lifting up to 35 lbs, and working with open flames or heat.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Proficiency with computers and POS systems.
• Regular attendance.

Qualifications

• Preferred: 1 year retail sales experience.
• Preferred: 1 year food prep/kitchen experience.
• Valid Food Handlers and/or Food Managers Certification.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite.

Compensation

• $16.50 - $18.61 per hour.
