The role involves interacting with customers, supporting cooking classes, and providing behind-the-scenes support to ensure a delightful customer experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, greeting and assisting customers proactively.
• Support cooking classes by assisting the instructor, reinforcing techniques, and helping with class preparations.
• Maintain product knowledge and seek additional training as needed.
• Work as part of a team to meet sales goals, including promoting products and services.
• Follow all company policies and SOPs.
• Assist with ingredient shopping, class prep, and kitchen cleaning.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with staff and customers.
• Handle, serve, and prepare drinks, including cocktails, if required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Resident Chef.

Essential Functions

• Effective verbal communication and teamwork.
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and move about the workspace.
• Ability to recognize flavors and odors accurately.
• Physical ability to reach, lift up to 35 lbs, and work in a kitchen environment with heat and open flames.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Proficiency with computers and POS systems.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• Preferred: 1 year retail sales and/or kitchen experience.
• Valid Food Handlers and/or Food Managers Certification.
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite.

Additional Information

• Pay range: $14.81 - $16.70 per hour.
