Legend Senior Living is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help maintain a clean, organized kitchen and service area as part of the culinary team. You will operate the dish machine, wash dishes and serving ware, and support food service staff to meet high standards for safety and quality.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication with residents and staff, adherence to health codes, and safeguarding company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and food service equipment.
• Empty dish machine and properly store clean items.
• Clean preparation and service areas according to health code requirements.
• Take garbage to the dumpster.
• Launder table linens.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
