Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher to support the culinary team by maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and serveware. You will help ensure a high standard of dining experience for residents and assist with daily duties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, cleaning areas to health codes, and teamwork with staff to deliver quality service. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

• Experience in a similar position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and food service equipment
• Empty dish machine and store clean items properly
• Clean preparation and service areas according to health code requirements
• Take all garbage to the dumpster
• Launder table linens
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

You will make a difference in the lives of residents by maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and serveware. Responsibilities--Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher

• Emptying dish machine and properly storing clean items
• Cleaning the preparation and service areas according to health code requirements
• Taking all garbage to the dumpster
• Laundering table linens
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
