Job summary

The Chi chapter of Tri Delta at the University of Mississippi is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help with meal prep and kitchen maintenance to support a premier living and dining experience. The role is part-time, hourly, and seasonal, on-site, with daytime shifts to be confirmed.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Duties include cooking support, dishwashing, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2+ years of related experience.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Possesses skills to operate a computer including web browsing, email, and Office products.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen Management: monitor and coordinate kitchen activities.
• Properly care for supplies and leftovers.
• Assist in meal preparation.
• Assist in checking and storage of food and supplies.
• Notify supervisor and/or house director of accidents or injuries.
• Cleaning & Sanitation: wash dishes and clean kitchen daily.

The Chi chapter of Tri Delta at the University of Mississippi is actively looking for a Kitchen Assistant to assist with all of our chapter meal preparation and maintenance of the kitchen to create a premier living and dining experience for Tri Delta's members.The ideal candidate will be an eager waiter or restaurant staff member who is highly self-motivated with great attention to detail.
