Job summary

Wayland Union Schools is seeking a part-time Food Service Assistant to join our student-centered team. The role involves food preparation, serving, cash handling and upholding safety standards while supporting students and staff.

Position is 4 hours per day during student days (9:30am–1:30pm) and requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Successful candidates will demonstrated reliability, basic PC skills, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced school kitchen.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to work well with students, teachers, coworkers, and administrators.
• Basic PC knowledge is required.
• Health, safety, and sanitation procedures must be followed.
