Job summary

NatureBridge seeks a Part-Time Kitchen Assistant to support the Kitchen Team at our Marin Headlands campus, within Golden Gate National Recreation Area. This role focuses on dishwashing, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and aiding in meal prep, with weekend shifts required and no remote work.

Shifts are flexible; compensation includes $18.82/hr, paid sick leave, and an option for a 403b retirement plan. Prior food service experience is preferred, and a background check is required for employment

What You Will Do

The Part-Time Kitchen Assistant works on the Kitchen Team to support cooks in prepping and serving cafeteria-style food to youth and adults at our campus in the Marin Headlands. This primarily is a dishwashing and custodial position. Other duties related to food preparation and service as assigned. This Part-Time position takes place at Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and cannot be performed remotely. Shifts can be flexible, but weekend work is required.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room cabinets.
• Keep all refrigerators clean with dates and labels on all items.
• Maintain and clean the Kitchen and Equipment.
• Receive and stock deliveries of food and supplies.
• Help to set up the buffet.
• Help cooks in the preparation of meals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Compensation

• $18.82/hr
• All employees earn paid sick leave
• Option for 403b retirement plan
