Job summary

H&H Builders, based in Denver, CO, is seeking a Kitchen & Bath Designer to translate client ideas into precise K&B plans and high quality working drawings. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and Architect to ensure designs meet aesthetic and practical requirements, while managing cabinetry orders and client selections.

The role requires proven K&B design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD/SketchUp, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in kitchen and bath design with a portfolio.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar).
• Understanding of building codes and measurement verifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain positive client relationships and manage project coordination smoothly.
• NKBA accreditation or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and draw precise K&B plans with Clients, Sales Manager, and Architect.
• Convert ideas into detailed working drawings; revise plans per client feedback within budget.
• Assist in managing client selection, cabinetry orders, and Selection Center.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, staff, and subcontractors and support company growth.
• Develop detailed phase 1 conceptual and 3D photorealistic drawings and track specifications.

Job Description

As a Kitchen & Bath Designer, you will be responsible for the design and execution of K&B plans that reflect the client's specifications and desires, translating abstract ideas into detailed, workable plans. You will work closely with the Sales Manager, Architect, and clients to ensure designs meet both aesthetic and practical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design Collaboration: Work alongside Clients, Sales Manager, and Architect to develop and draw precise K&B plans.
• Client Interaction: Convert client's abstract ideas into detailed working drawings; revise plans according to client feedback to meet budget and expectations.
• Project Management: Assist in managing the client selection process, placing special orders for cabinetry, and maintaining the H&H Selection Center.
• Communication: Ensure effective communication with clients, staff, and subcontractors, and maintain proactive involvement in company growth objectives.
• Detail Orientation: Develop detailed phase 1 conceptual and 3D photorealistic drawings, and maintain accurate records and specifications for construction and cabinetry orders.

Qualifications

Professional Experience: Proven experience in kitchen and bath design, with a portfolio of completed projects.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar), and an understanding of building codes and measurement verifications.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to maintain positive client relationships and manage project coordination smoothly.

Certifications: Accreditation from NKBA or similar is preferred.
