Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking a Food Service Associate to assist cooks in preparing meals and desserts for patients. You will deliver trays, serve beverages, and help maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining area in a hospital setting.

The role requires adherence to diet orders, infection control, and safety procedures, with on‑the‑job training provided. This is a fast-paced on-site position with physical tasks and shift work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On the job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Assist cook in meal preparation.
• Carry trays to patients in halls.
• Clean dining tables after meals.
• Prepare nourishments between meals (sandwiches, etc.).
• Serve beverages and meals to patients.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Record temperatures of freezers and walk-ins.
