Job summary

California Chicken Café is hiring to prepare scratch-made recipes and keep the back of house clean and orderly. You will follow production lists, store and label foods per Health Department rules, read and execute recipes, and ensure the kitchen is clean and properly stocked.

In a fast-paced environment, you will also prepare guest orders and communicate any issues with quality or equipment. Training includes the Road to Success class and CA Food Handler requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to understand and speak basic English.
• Must pass California state Food Handlers course and test.

Responsibilities

• Prepare California Chicken Café's scratch made recipes and ensure back kitchen is clean and organized.
• Follow production lists accurately and efficiently.
• Store and label foods per Health Department regulations.
• Read, comprehend and execute recipes.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized restaurant environment.
• Make and package guest food orders.
• Communicate any food quality, equipment, or work environment issues.
