Job summary

Keefe Group is seeking warehouse operations team members to join our team in a fast-paced, on-site warehouse environment in New Jersey. This full-time role involves receiving, picking, packing, and shipping duties with dailyPay access and weekly pay.

The position reports to the Inventory Manager and requires 18+ years old, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and willingness to obtain forklift certification. Evening/weekend overtime opportunities may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Willing to become forklift-certified and operate material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with computers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and put away product as part of inbound operations.
• Select product for individual customer orders for commissary teams.
• Build, stage, and load pallet orders with forklifts and handling equipment.
• Load third-party and internal delivery trucks.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct basic cycle counts.
• Utilize WMS and handheld devices to pick and track orders.

About This Position

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

7am - 3:30pm

You will work onsite at a warehouse. You will report to the Inventory Manager.

Developing teams and building careers are central to our success. As such, we have an opportunity to perform warehouse tasks from receiving product, preparing customer orders and shipping products to our clients. This is a full-time position, with some benefits starting your first day.

We expect our team to complete several processes and therefore believe in cross-training our team across the distribution departments. You can also specialize in a specific area. The facility is an operational warehouse servicing multiple businesses, with opportunities to:

• Unload, receive and put away product as part of the Inbound Operations team
• Select product for individual customer orders as part of our Commissary (KCN) team.
• Build, stage, and load pallet orders on modern forklifts and material handling equipment (MHE) to support our Bulk team.
• Load third-party and internal delivery trucks
• Manage inventory in a environment, to include counting product and correcting inventory.
• Use technology and learn WMS systems to deliver orders through the use of: mobile scan guns, modern material handling equipment, computers, tablets and more.
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
• Ability to become forklift and material handling equipment certified.
• Familiarity with computers preferred.
