Job summary

America's Future in Washington, DC is seeking an internship to support the production of our events and fellowship programs. You'll work with the COO and help plan the Annual Gala, manage guest lists, registrations, and communications, and keep program data current in our CRM.

This hands-on role offers exposure to nonprofit program delivery from planning spreadsheets to the night of events, with a travel stipend and opportunities to develop project management and communications skills.

About the role

America's Future is looking for an intern to join our Washington, DC team this spring. You'll work at the center of two things we care about most: supporting the production of DC events, including our Annual Gala & Awards Showcase, and the fellowship programs and chapters that bring our community together year-round. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to see how a nonprofit builds and delivers programs and events, from the first planning spreadsheet to the night itself.

The intern will report to the Chief Operating Officer and support the needs of the full team. They will receive a travel stipend for the metro.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support Annual Gala planning and logistics
• Manage guest lists, RSVPs, and registration in Salesforce and Eventbrite

5500 - 7500 USD a year

Stand Together Fellowships pays participants a stipend of either $7,500 for full-time participants working approximately 32 hours per week at the partner organization, or $5,500 for part-time participants working approximately 24 hours per week at the partner organization. Attending the entirety of the online and on-site KIP programming is required for both full and part-time participants.
