What is the Role?
As a Kiosk Maintenance Technician at Intersection, you will help maintain kiosks across NYC. You should communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and be comfortable working outdoors year-round. Knowledge of Manhattan and surrounding boroughs is a plus.
Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

1. Kiosk paint maintenance
2. Kiosk aesthetic replacements
3. Tablet aesthetic replacements
4. Netcap remediations
5. Netcap installation
6. Air filter replacement
7. Cooling fan replacement
8. Assist Digital Field Technician with field work
9. Deliver parts to the field
10. Assist in warehouse and on-bench repairs

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with electro-mechanical components
• Ability to use hand and power tools (drills, screwdrivers, wrenches), including specialized tools if needed
• Follow documented procedures for fitting, adjusting, and ensuring proper part functioning
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and procedures
• Good time management skills
• Ability to lift and sustain 50 lbs. overhead briefly
• Self-starter preferred
