California State University, East Bay invites applications for a pool of temporary, part-time lecturers in the Department of Kinesiology for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. Positions may be at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, or online, and require teaching lecture, lab, and physical activity courses.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a Kinesiology related field is required to teach lecture-based lower division courses and physical activity courses.
• A Doctoral degree in a Kinesiology related field is preferred to teach upper division major and graduate lecture and laboratory courses.
• Prior university experience teaching the physical activity or a relevant coaching or industry qualification may be considered for physical activity classes.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses within the Department of Kinesiology (lecture, laboratory, and physical activity classes).
• Teaching assignments may include courses at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, and/or online.
• All faculty duties are performed within the state of California.
