The SUNY Brockport Department of Kinesiology, Sport Studies, and Physical Education seeks a full-time, 10-month, tenure-track Instructor of Kinesiology. The start date is August 2027. The department offers four undergraduate majors and enrolls the largest student body on campus.

The position emphasizes teaching a 4/4 course load, with courses in Motor Development and Motor Learning; scholarship and service are also expected components of the workload.

Formación

• Master's degree in Kinesiology, Motor Behavior, or related field by time of appointment.
• Ability to teach undergraduate motor behavior courses and other department courses.
• Ability to provide quality mentorship to students.

Responsabilidades

• Teaches a 4/4 course load per academic year.
• Teaches Motor Development and Motor Learning courses and related department offerings.
• Engages in scholarly activities and professional development.
• Provides service to department and university, including advisement and student engagement.
