• Knowledge of and ability to appraise diverse backgrounds of community college students.

Responsibilities

• Teaching lower division courses in Kinesiology and Physical Education.
• Advance equitable student learning through exemplary instruction per course outlines.
• Inform students of course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance needs.
• Prepare and grade assignments and exams and communicate progress to students.
• Maintain attendance and records and submit according to policies and deadlines.
• Develop and assess student-learning outcomes and use results for improvement.
• Engage in data inquiry and self-assessment to improve student success and equity.
• Participate in mandatory FLEX professional development.
• Maintain current knowledge of subject matter and effective teaching strategies.
