The successful candidate will teach Exercise Physiology, Strength Training and Conditioning, Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Biomechanics, and Exercise Testing and Prescription, with potential teaching of Anatomy and Physiology I & II.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in exercise physiology, exercise science, kinesiology or related area.
• College-level teaching and scholarship experience.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to diverse undergraduates and collaborative work.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Exercise Physiology, Strength Training and Conditioning, Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Biomechanics, and Exercise Testing and Prescription.
• Potentially teach Anatomy and Physiology I and II.
• Advise undergraduate students.
• Meet School and University service requirements.
• Promote the kinesiology major and participate in program development.
• Maintain an active research program.
• Develop new courses and curriculum as requested.
• Maintain commitment to social responsibility in the classroom.
