Job summary

Southern Brew dba 7 Brew is seeking a Brewista to deliver friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced coffee shop setting. You will greet customers, take and confirm orders, handle payments, and prepare drinks and premixes with care.

The role requires strong customer focus, a willingness to work varied shifts, and a commitment to cleanliness and safety. Training is provided, and flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Can create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to five minutes at a time.
• Can work carefully and quickly with hot water and coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products.
• Can work outside for prolonged periods, regardless of weather conditions.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Can stand comfortably for hours at a time.
• Can climb a ladder and use a stepladder.
• Can stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to stock and clean in the stand.
• Can safely walk in drive-thru areas around cars and traffic.
• Can safely use a utility knife.

Responsibilities

• Converse with customers to confirm drink orders and input orders into POS.
• Collect payments and correctly count back change.
• Prepare all drinks and premixes.
• Move with urgency and serve customers promptly.
• Maintain a productive and proactive work pace during shifts.
• Build personal connections with customers through friendly interactions and positive body language.
• Know the menu inside and out and offer recommendations when appropriate.
• Present oneself professionally and dress for the role.
• Follow shift-change duties and weekly chores to stay on task.
• Be clocked in and ready at shift start.
• Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment per sanitation standards.
