Job Description:

St. Mary School is seeking a Kindergarten teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The Teacher will be responsible for teaching all subjects (Religion, ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science) according to the curriculum and guidelines for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

The teacher's responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, develop, write and implement the Archdiocese of Philadelphia curriculum in all areas for the kindergarten students
  • Provide developmentally appropriate instruction to the kindergarten students in all subject areas
  • Communicate with parents about students’ progress
  • Establish and maintain an educational environment consistent with instructional goals
  • Manage student behavior to encourage the best possible student educational experience
  • Evaluate students’ academic growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare various progress reports and report cards


Requirements:

  • Teacher certification
  • Updated clearances
    • Pennsylvania State Police Background Check
    • Child Abuse Clearance
    • FBI fingerprinting
