Job summary

STEM School Highlands Ranch is seeking a passionate Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. You will deliver an engaging curriculum, plan problem-based learning experiences, and support elementary students’ academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, assessing progress, collaborating with staff, and communicating with families. Colorado READ Act certification is required for Colorado licensure, with a typical workweek Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Elementary Education or a related field.
Valid state teaching license or certification.
Colorado READ Act Certification (required for all Colorado licensed teachers; out of state licensed teachers will have one year to complete certification)
Preferred: Experience with LMS and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

Utilize problem-based learning (PBL) to plan lessons based on state standards.
Create engaging lesson plans using school curriculum.
Adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs with interventions and extensions.
Assess student progress toward mastery and provide feedback to students and guardians.
Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment and maintain classroom routines.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and participate in professional development.
