Qualifications

• Background checks and drug screenings as required by the district.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons aligned with the NC Standard Course of Study.
• Utilize play-based learning and multi-sensory activities to teach literacy, phonics, numbers, and problem-solving.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners including ELs, IEPs/504 plans, and AIG students.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment with PBIS supports and clear routines.
• Monitor student progress using observations and assessments; conduct conferences with parents.
