RSU 24 Kindergarten Teacher Opportunity at Mountain View School - Cougar Cubs

RSU 24 is seeking an engaging Kindergarten Teacher for Mountain View School - Cougar Cubs. We are looking for a teacher who has knowledge of a developmentally appropriate kindergarten classroom, experience teaching in a play-based environment, and the ability to teach early literacy and numeracy skills.

Key strengths include:

  • Classroom management skills with knowledge or willingness to learn Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and conscious discipline
  • Use of data to inform teaching and differentiate instruction
  • Strong communication skills with parents
  • Collaborative teamwork mindset

The successful candidate will hold a Maine Department of Education Teacher Certification with either #020 General K-8 Endorsement or #029 Early Childhood Endorsement. Candidates must also hold a current MDOE Criminal History Records Check. Compensation is based on experience and education level.
