Responsibilities include collaboration with staff, family communication, and integrating technology. Eligible candidates hold an Ohio teaching license, a relevant education degree, and experience in urban environments within a charter school

Qualifications

• Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Comfort with a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and supervise students in multiple settings.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Experience working in an urban environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with capability to modify during the year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet all students' needs.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize best practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Manage student behavior and create a positive classroom environment.
• Incorporate technology into daily classroom practice to support learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with families regarding student growth.
• Participate in planning and implementation of non-instructional activities as needed.
