Job summary

The Learning Experience in Rosenberg, TX is hiring a preschool Kindergarten Teacher who is passionate about daycare and childcare. You will create a safe, nurturing classroom where children can explore and grow.

Use the L.E.A.P. Curriculum, plan engaging lessons for kindergarteners, and maintain regular communication with families through mobile apps and discussions. Preferred: 2+ years of teaching experience and a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must meet state-specific guidelines and possess required certifications for the role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Serve as a role model, fostering a growth mindset to develop young minds and ignite a lifelong passion for learning.
• Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum, tailoring it to meet the needs of Kindergarten children.
• Plan and deliver effective lesson plans and teaching strategies for Kindergarten students.
• Utilize a diverse range of learning modalities to engage students in each lesson.
• Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes both play and learning.
• Maintain regular communication with parents, sharing progress and achievements through apps and discussions.
• Collaborate with center staff and leadership to support center success and enrollment goals.
• Build strong relationships with families and colleagues to create a harmonious learning environment.
