The Springfield City School District, home to The John Legend Theatre, seeks a Kindergarten Teacher at Fulton Elementary School for the 2025-2026 school year. We serve approximately 7,500 students from Pre-K through grade 12 across 17 modern school buildings in west-central Ohio. We value diversity and aim to promote social and emotional growth through initiatives like a 1:1 device program and the YouMedia Center, a digital learning lab with activities such as 3-D printing, graphic design, and videography. As a Teacher, you are required to:
- Hold current licensure issued by the Ohio Department of Education
- Possess or be in the process of obtaining The Reading Endorsement, or have passed Praxis 5203

As a Teacher, you will:

What We Offer:
The Intervention Specialist position involves working 183 days per year, 7.25 hours per day. The starting salary is $43,816, with increases based on education and experience. Contracted employees receive competitive benefits and professional development opportunities. Salary details are outlined in the Springfield Education Association (SEA) negotiated agreement. Additionally, a $1,600 annual longevity bonus is awarded to the successful candidate.
