Lynn Public Schools Lincoln-Thompson Elementary School in Lynn, MA is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher to start Sep 1, 2026. The role requires MA licensure in Early Childhood (PreK-2) and SEI Endorsement, with a focus on creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

You will collaborate with families and staff to deliver standards-based instruction aligned to state guidelines, plan differentiated lessons, and use assessments to monitor student progress.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts license in Early Childhood (PreK-2) or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college; Master’s Degree preferred.
• SEI Endorsement required or in process.
• Knowledge of current MA education laws and policies.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and staff.
• Experience in urban school settings preferred.
• Able to meet Massachusetts standards for effective teaching.

Responsibilities

• Establish a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Engage with families and community members to support equity.
• Plan standards-based lessons aligned with state standards.
• Provide instruction to diverse students with varied needs.
• Differentiate instruction to meet SPED/EL requirements.
• Use assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Document student growth and report to families.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams on planning and progress.

Education

Early Childhood (PreK-2) licensure
