Job summary

Freedom Preparatory Academy seeks an elementary Kindergarten teacher for its growing network of charter schools in Memphis. You will introduce and help students master concepts, and assessments are administered throughout the year to gauge progress.

Collaboration with fellow teachers ensures cross-curricular and thematic alignment. The role requires a Tennessee teaching license with endorsements or reciprocity, plus 2–4 years of urban teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Master’s Degree strongly preferred
• Valid Tennessee teaching license and endorsements in the hired content area OR reciprocity with TN
• Enrollment in a certification program with eligibility for licensure
• Two to four years of urban teaching and educational leadership experience preferred
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
