Job summary

Global Educational Excellence (GEE) seeks an Elementary Teacher to deliver engaging, data-driven instruction in a K–5 classroom, manage classroom culture, and support the whole-child development of each student.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and a Michigan teaching certificate or eligibility, with CAP eligibility available. A satisfactory background check is required to join our charter school network in Southeast Michigan.

ABOUT GEE

POSITION SUMMARY

The Elementary Teacher delivers engaging, data-driven instruction in a K–5 classroom setting, manages classroom culture, and supports the whole-child development of each student.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate elementary endorsement, or eligibility for certification through the Michigan State Board of Education
• Candidates who do not yet hold a Michigan teaching certificate may qualify through enrollment in GEE's Career Advancement Program (CAP), which provides a supported pathway to Michigan certification. CAP eligibility is determined at the time of application.
• Satisfactory criminal background check

• Design and deliver standards-aligned instruction that produces measurable student growth

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, and standing for extended periods. Work environment includes elevated noise levels.
