Qualifications

Description

Blessed Trinity Catholic School is looking for a full time kindergarten teacher. As part of our elementary team, the teacher will collaborate with our Penn Campus team to create a dynamic learning environment that support the development of a diverse community of learners across content areas, including the foundations of reading and math, beginning science, social studies and kindergarten religion. The teacher will be able to identify and support a wide range of learning needs and differentiate instruction to meet student needs, adapting curriculum and instructional resources to create a positive, productive learning community.

Qualifications

- A K-6 Minnesota Teaching License is required

- Knowledge and Passion for the unique needs of Kindergarten learners

- Understanding of Current Elementary Curriculum Standards, particularly Kindergarten level. Familiarity or experience with Archdiocesan Catholic School standards and resources such as religion standards and Believe and Read programming preferred

- Experience at multiple levels of elementary, including kindergarten preferred

- Training and experience working with English Language Learners preferred, but not required

- Bilingual Spanish ability preferred, but not required
