Prescott Memorial School is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Kindergarten teacher to join our dynamic team of educators in a small school community. The candidate should be able to implement a developmentally appropriate program that fosters a love of learning while guiding and encouraging students to develop their academic potential in an engaging classroom environment. The ideal candidate should have expertise in structured literacy and explicit, systematic phonics instruction, as well as the ability to effectively utilize formative and summative assessment data to inform instruction, differentiate learning experiences, and ensure all students are making progress toward academic goals. We are looking for an individual with a growth mindset willing to work collaboratively with colleagues and families. Experience in using the Understanding by Design curriculum framework and Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) is preferred but not required.
