BASIS Ed in Leander is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher to join a bright, passionate team dedicated to student growth and high-quality instruction.

The position requires eligibility to work in Texas Public Schools, a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject, and the ability to obtain fingerprint clearance through TEA. Preferred candidates may have a Master’s degree and 3+ years in elementary education.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in Texas Public Schools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject.
• Ability to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance through TEA.

Responsabilités

• Evaluating students’ academic and social growth, keeping appropriate records, and preparing progress reports.
• Communicating with parents via email, conferences, and other means to discuss student progress.
• Identifying student needs and cooperating with the Subject Experts or other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems.
• Providing differentiated instruction and executing IEPs and 504 Plans with fidelity.
• Substitute/duty coverage as needed.
• Supervise students during classroom transitions throughout the day.
• Occasionally represent BASIS Ed Texas at designated school wide community events outside of typical school hours.
