Reporting to the Elementary Division Head and working closely with the Director of Integrated Jewish Learning, the teacher plays a vital role in supporting the integration of Jewish values and content into the curriculum. As a core member of the elementary faculty team, the Kindergarten teacher collaborates with specialists and families to ensure each child’s academic and social-emotional growth. The teacher is expected to provide exemplary instruction, guidance, and motivation grounded in best practices, while demonstrating initiative in developing effective instructional strategies, materials, and classroom management techniques that reflect their individual strengths and teaching style. Teachers are also expected to maintain open communication with families, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute positively to the school community.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Teach core subjects (Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Jewish content) using the school’s standards-based curriculum.
