Job summary

Primrose School of Florham Park is seeking an Early Childhood Kindergarten Teacher to guide and nurture young learners in a structured Balanced Learning environment.

The role requires a four-year education degree and NJ P-3 teaching certification, with a typical schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:00 pm and a pay range of $23.00–$29.00 per hour. Training, advancement, and a supportive on-site leadership team are provided.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in education is required.
• NJ Preschool-Grade 3 (P-3) Teaching Certification required.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for nurturing and educating young children.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for kindergarten children.
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you.
• Implement positive behavioral guidance strategies and ensure a safe learning space.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Support individual learning needs and encourage social and emotional growth.

Shift Schedule:
