Primrose School of Florham Park is seeking an energetic Kindergarten Assistant Teacher to support our Lead Teacher and create a warm, engaging classroom for young learners. This role emphasizes building relationships with families, using our digital learning platform, and fostering foundational skills in a joyful setting.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
• Degree or CDA in early childhood education and preschool settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for kindergarten children.
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you.
• Implement positive behavioral guidance strategies and ensure a safe learning space.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Support individual learning needs and encourage social and emotional growth.

Education

Salary Range:

The hourly rate ranges from $18.00 to $24.00, with compensation determined based on the candidate’s level of education.

Shift Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
