Mt. Pleasant Public Schools is hiring a Kindergarten Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year.
The role supports students throughout the day in a safe, nurturing environment and assists in implementing the daily program of the building. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or 60 college hours (or an associate degree), plus knowledge of culturally responsive practices and strong communication skills.
The following position is available for the 2026-2027 school year.
This is a 7.25 hour/day position on student contact days with salary and benefits as outlined in the Agreement between the Mt. Pleasant Support Personnel Association and The Mt. Pleasant Board of Education.
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions established in the Agreement between the Mt. Pleasant Support Personnel Association and the Mt. Pleasant Board of Education.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students. staff and the community. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
