Job summary

Natick Public Schools seeks a paraprofessional educator to support kindergarten students at Brown Elementary School. Start date ASAP; 182 days/fte; salary per contract with the Education Association of Natick. Reports to Special Education Administrator/Principal. Eligible for benefits.

Requires high school diploma or GED; strong collaboration and organizational skills; experience with Google Suite and PowerSchool preferred. Bilingual abilities in Spanish/Portuguese are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Google Suite and PowerSchool preferred, but training may be provided.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish/Portuguese) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with students individually and in small groups in general or special education settings.
• Assist teacher by reinforcing lessons and implementing prescribed instruction.
• Support students’ communication, social and academic development.
• Maintain student data and progress records as directed by the teacher/principal.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure equitable access and behavior supports.
