Qualifications

• Indiana Substitute Teacher Permit required.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Education.
• Previous teaching experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and instruct students effectively.
• Flexibility, patience, critical thinking, and adaptability.
• Commitment to excellence in Christian education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans consistent with the regular teacher's curriculum and classroom objectives.
• Create a positive classroom atmosphere that fosters academic growth and student engagement.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain school-wide expectations.
• Adapt instructional methods to meet the needs of individual students.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school administration.
• Maintain accurate grades and attendance records.
• Keep the classroom organized, attractive, and conducive to learning.
• Supervise students during non-instructional duties such as recess, lunch, and car line.
• Attend faculty meetings, staff development opportunities, parent meetings, and other required school events.
• Collaborate effectively with administrators, faculty, and staff.
• Follow the Matthew 18 principle in relationships and conflict resolution.
