Qualifications

• For Title I Assistants: 48 college credits or pass the Paraprofessional Assessment, or an Associate's Degree.
• Experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist kindergarten teachers with instructional activities and reinforce material.
• Provide individual and small-group instruction to adapt the curriculum.
• Help maintain classroom behavior standards and safety.
• Prepare instructional materials and read to students.
• Support in creating a conducive learning environment and plan lessons.
• Assist with office tasks such as typing, filing, and answering calls.
• Assist in selecting library materials and displays.
