KIPP St. Louis is seeking a dedicated Long Term Paraprofessional to provide classroom support and small group instructional care for high-need students in our Kindergarten classrooms.

You will collaborate with Teacher Aides to implement instructional and care programs that promote academic achievement and personal development. As part of a mission-driven team within a national charter school network, you will work closely with teachers and families, adhering to school-wide standards and IOE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4 year university
• Substitute Certification required
• High school diploma or GED with 60 college credit hours

Responsibilities

• Escort, assist, and supervise students during play periods and transitions
• Establish and maintain strong communication with parents and share progress
• Support teachers in implementing instructional and care programs to promote academic achievement and development
• Promote an environment of learning and personal development for high-need students
• Assist in daily school functioning and activities as needed
