Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher and valid Texas teaching certificate for the assigned subject/level.
• Completion of Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary.
• ESL Supplemental Certification preferred.
• Fluent with technology and integrates tech to enhance learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement instructional plans aligned to TEA policies and district standards.
• Monitor student progress with formative and summative assessments; adjust instruction accordingly.
• Create a positive classroom environment and manage student behavior per code of conduct and IEPs.
• Establish open communication with students, parents/guardians and staff; participate in professional development.
• Collaborate with staff, plan goals, and provide supervision for aides/volunteers.
