A leading educational institution in Hoboken is seeking a dedicated kindergarten head teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a collaborative classroom culture, and supporting student development. We are seeking a kindergarten head teacher for the 2025-2026 school year in our Hoboken Campus. This is a full-time, co-teaching permanent assignment starting in August 16, 2025 and ending August, 15 2026. The contract duration is from a mutually agreed upon start date through June 30, 2025. Standard work hours, benefits, and paid time off as per the Faculty/Staff Handbook.
Reports to: Early Childhood Director
The Candidate
You are an experienced teacher with a successful track record teaching early elementary students. You bring creativity, excellent relationship skills, and a collaborative approach to your craft. You are passionate about fostering a strong culture of student engagement in learning, in close alignment with our mission. You model a spirit of collaboration and inquiry to inspire students to “explore, question and communicate in ways that will shape the future.”
You are culturally competent with effective organizational and classroom management skills. You have strong verbal and written communication skills and can develop interpersonal relationships with faculty, parents, and students. You are professional and energetic, you have a positive attitude, and are a self-starter. You work collaboratively with others in a small community and can instill confidence in the program with parents as required.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
