ST. PATRICK INTERPARISH SCHOOL, GAINESVILLE is seeking an Elementary Teacher under the Diocese of St. Augustine. The role supports faith-based education within a Catholic school environment and reports to the Principal.

You will plan lessons, integrate Catholic religious curriculum, and foster a respectful, academically rigorous classroom. Flexibility for after-hours school events is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing or able to support Catholic mission.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Must maintain Florida Professional Educator certification.
• Must obtain Basic Diocesan Ministry Certification within two years.
• Ability to promote Catholic teachings and mission in instruction.

Responsibilities

• Support the Catholic mission of the school through instruction and example.
• Collaborate with the principal to foster faith formation and a positive learning environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of school information.
• Plan lessons and integrate religious curriculum with academic goals.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management and engage students.
