Job summary

City of New Braunfels’s Das Rec, New Braunfels Recreation Center is seeking a motivated childcare supervisor to deliver safe, high-quality Kinder Care services. Under general supervision, you will coordinate and facilitate care for children, maintain safety and cleanliness, and support staff in a dynamic community recreation environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must have one (1) year experience working with children in a childcare setting and one (1) year customer service/public interaction experience.
• Must possess or be able to obtain within two (2) weeks of employment: CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains expert knowledge of Das Rec’s childcare tracking system, Procare Solutions.
• Establishes and maintains an environment built around safety, cleanliness, courtesy, and efficiency.
• Supervises Kinder Care Attendants, providing direction as necessary.
• Plans and implements weekly programs with safe themes, games, stories, and crafts.
• Maintains Kinder Care room order and inventory; assists with sanitation and cleaning.
