Description of the role:

Visiting Angels is a non-medical In-Home care agency seeking dedicated, caring, and compassionate caregivers to join our team! As a leading provider of senior home care services, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in our community. We are currently looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers who will provide personalized care, companionship, and support to help our clients live comfortably in their homes.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid California driver’s license *MUST BE A CALIFORNIA DRIVER'S LICENSE*
• A reliable vehicle and proof of auto insurance where you must be listed as an insured driver
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record screening
• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) –we’ll assist you if you're not registered yet!
• Proof of negative TB test –we’ll cover the cost if needed!
• Physical ability to perform the duties required of the role
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Two professional, work-related references
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable nature

Responsibilities:

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Providing medication reminders and assisting with medication administration
• Helping with light housekeeping, including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Transporting clients to appointments, errands, and social activities (if required)
