Job summary

Spectrum Control is hiring a Production Operator to join a 4-day, 10-hour work schedule, offering a 3-day weekend and benefits starting on day one. You will operate in kiln and post-kiln processes, inspect products, and help maintain a safe, efficient production floor.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in production/manufacturing and can follow detailed work specifications while handling ceramics, solvents, dust and metals. Training and team collaboration are key in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of production/manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and follow work specifications.
• Ability to work around ceramics, solvents, dust and metals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for flaws through a microscope and report flaws to area lead or supervisor.
• Review and follow work specifications.
• Set up standard daily work.
• Track and input work order moves and product output into production move system.
• Work with or around ceramics, solvents, dust, and liquid & solid metals.
• Train and work where assigned in pre- and post-kiln operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties or flex to other areas as required by supervisor.
• Assist in the training of new operators when needed.
