Job summary

Walker Lovell partners with a well-established mining company to identify an experienced engineer to own rotary kiln operations. You will drive plant reliability, performance and continuous improvement in a heavy industrial setting.

With a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree and 5+ years in rotary kiln roles, you will lead maintenance planning, capital projects and asset care while building site teams and upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years' experience with rotary kiln operations in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Strong background in preventative maintenance and reliability engineering.
  • Proven project management and leadership experience in mining, minerals, cement, or related industries.
  • Commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production and maintenance planning across rotary kiln operations to maximise reliability, efficiency and plant performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce downtime, optimise production and improve asset reliability.
  • Manage capital improvement projects, maintenance strategies and equipment performance across the operation.
  • Develop site teams while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and operational excellence.
