Job summary

Dal-Tile is hiring a Kiln Attendant for the C shift (Wed-Sat) in the United States. You will load greenware, unload fired tile, and maintain kiln operations while adhering to safety standards and quality checks.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience; kiln experience is a plus. The position offers an hourly rate of $23.33 and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Prior kiln experience is a plus.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to read and follow loading schedules and quality checks.
• Ability to differentiate colors and measure with accuracy.
• Ability to work safely and independently.
• Basic English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Loads greenware into kilns per loading schedule.
• Unloads fired tile from setters into bins.
• Transports fired tile from kiln to staging area for shipping.
• Maintains kiln cars and makes minor adjustments as necessary.
• Performs quality checks on kiln as required.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
