Job summary

Prime Inc. seeks a driven Project Manager to lead a large, multi-year, multi-phase campus-style commercial development spanning sitework, precast structures, and high-end buildings in the Greater Atlanta area.

You will drive execution from preconstruction through closeout, partnering with senior field leadership to deliver safely, on schedule, and within budget. The role focuses on project execution, financial performance, and team culture across multiple phases, with long-term leadership growth

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of contract language and reading plans/specifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Proficiency with Acumatica preferred.
  • OSHA safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise project team; ensure adherence to contract, policies and schedules.
  • Oversee day-to-day operational and tactical execution of commercial projects.
  • Manage subcontractor performance to meet drawings, specs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules with the Project Superintendent.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor safety, quality, cost, and progress.
  • Ensure proper document control per company standards.
  • Develop quality, safety, and risk plans to minimize exposure.
  • Collaborate across internal departments to align with policies and objectives.
  • Maintain professional relationships with vendors, Owners, architects, and officials.

We are seeking a driven Project Manager to help lead a large, multi-year, multi-phase campus-style commercial development in the Greater Atlanta area — spanning large-scale sitework and infrastructure, precast concrete structures, and high-end commercial buildings and interiors. Partnering closely with our senior field leadership, you will drive execution from preconstruction through closeout across overlapping project phases.

The Project Manager serves as the primary steward of project execution, financial performance, and team culture. This individual is responsible for overseeing multiple phases of work, managing diverse scopes, coordinating with clients, consultants, and trade partners, and ensuring each project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers long-term project continuity, leadership growth.

Responsibilities
  • Project Team Leadership: Supervise and guide the project team, providing direction on project management practices, contract adherence, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical execution of one or more commercial construction projects, ensuring alignment with established project goals.
  • Trade Contractor Oversight: Oversee subcontractor performance to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Schedule Development: Develop project schedules in coordination with the Project Superintendent, establishing sequencing, milestones, and performance benchmarks necessary for successful completion.
  • Site Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular site visits to evaluate safety, quality, cost control, and schedule progress in partnership with field leadership.
  • Document Control Administration: Ensure proper administration and organization of all project documentation in accordance with company standards.
  • Quality, Safety & Risk Planning: Develop and monitor project-specific quality, safety, and risk management plans to protect performance and minimize exposure.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with internal departments to ensure company policies, procedures, and strategic objectives are consistently executed.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain professional and tactful relationships with vendors, Owners, architects, regulatory officials, and the broader community.
Qualifications
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years or more of experience in project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field or equivalent work experience.
Technical Expertise:
  • Understands contractual language and how to read plans and specifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Proficiency in Acumatica preferred.
Safety
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards.
Communication & Decision-Making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make sound, timely decisions in high-pressure environments.

This role will primarily be in an office environment based in our Springfield, Missouri headquarters, or at the job site. Assigned projects may require the Project Manager to be on-site for extended durations, and occasional travel is to be expected.
