Job summary

KidStrong in Fort Collins is seeking a Coach to deliver our dynamic curriculum to children up to 11 years old. You’ll bring energy, creativity, and a love of helping kids grow by leading engaging classes and supporting families.

This part-time, on-site role offers shifts on weekends and weekday afternoons, opportunities for advancement, and staff discounts. CPR certified or willing to obtain certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with kids is non-negotiable.
• Coaching background with children aged walking to 11 years old is preferred.
• Excellent communication with parents and guardians.
• Energetic, fun presence in every class.
• Mentor to other coaches with strong interpersonal skills.
• Professional attitude and consistency in performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fun, dynamic classes that boost brainpower, physical skills, and character for kids walking to 11 years old.
• Understand and communicate KidStrong's curriculum with flair.
• Achieve Coach Certification and continue training.
• Engage families before, during, and after class to build relationships.
• Ensure classes run smoothly and on time.
• Keep families engaged and excited about KidStrong.
• Coach classes, camps, movie nights, and related center activities.

Reports To: General Manager / Assistant General Manager

Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour

What You’ll Do

• Coach Like a Pro: Deliver fun, dynamic classes that boost brainpower, physical skills, and character for kids walking to 11 years old
• Master of Curriculum: Understand the magic behind KidStrong's programs and communicate it with flair.
• Be the Best: Achieve Coach Certification and keep leveling up your skills like you're in a video game with our stellar training programs
• Family Friend: Create positive interactions with families before, during, and after class – you’re the reason they love KidStrong!
• Class Commander: Ensure classes run smoothly and on time, every time. No tardy bells here!
• Family Connector: Keep families engaged and excited about KidStrong. Think of yourself as the social glue that keeps everyone together.
• Master of all: Coach class, camps, movie nights, and anything else your center leaders might ask for

Center Operations

• Event Enthusiast: Assist in community events and center initiatives. Party planner meets motivational speaker.
• Clean & Green: Participate in the upkeep and maintenance of our awesome center. Cleanliness is next to awesomeness.
